This April, National Geographic has published an article in its magazine featuring my new project, Entomographies. I love the outcome of the publication and even more so being able to finally share Entomographies after three years working on it.
ARCO FAIR
MADRID
From March 6th to 10th, I was at the ARCO fair in Madrid. I went with Senda Gallery, which exhibited my work as webb as the photographs of Robert Mapplethorpe. It has been an intense expicience that has brought me many new things. Many thanks to the entire team!
MATHEMATIKUM
GERMANY
At the end of February, Ornitographies was inaugurated at the Mathematikum Museum in GieBen, Germany, and I had the pleasure of attending the opening. I also had the opportunity to enjoy the museum, which is very interesting for how it brings concepts of mathematics and science closer through games with great creativity. If anyone is in the area, the exhibition will be on display until May.
SWAB ART FAIR

From October 6 to 9 I will be part of the Contemporary Art Fair Swab, which takes place every year in Barcelona.
My work will be at the stand of the Lab36 gallery that represents me in Spain.
DELTA BIRDING FESTIVAL

During the weekend of September 23 to 25, my work has been exhibited at the Delta Birding Festival. A very special place for me since a few meters from where it is celebrated, it is a place from where I have captured some of the images of the project.

“XERRADES AMB” TALK TOUR

Caixaforum is a cultural center managed by the “la Caixa” Foundation that is dedicated to promoting and exhibiting art in its 9 centers in Spain. I was invited to “xarrades amb …” a series of conferences that are given in the different cities where these museums are located.
KANT FESTIVAL

Kant is a festival about photography and nature that takes place in the Danish town of Thisted. Initially I had to be done in 2020 but this was canceled the day before due to a new wave of Covid19. Finally this year it was possible to celebrate it.
EXHIBITION AT ZINGST, GERMANY

My project will be exhibited during from October 1st till December 15th months in the beautiful coastal town of Zingst Germany in the gallery “Max Hünten Haus”. This town organizes one of the largest photo festivals in that region called Horinzonte Zingst.

A multi-page article is published in the summer issue of the magazine of one of the world’s largest environmental organizations WWF, iI’m so happy to be a part of it.

I am very excited to be able to give a talk, project my work and exhibit in the science museum where I discovered many of its mysteries as a child. In many ways I think my project fits this space because of the connection it has between science, technology and art.

This March my work will be exhibited on the street on large canvases, at the Luminic photography festival in the city of Sant Cugat.

In the winter edition of one of the most prestigious publications in the field of literature, I have the honor of having published not only an extensive article but also the cover of this issue.
RARE BIRD CLUB TALK AND AUDITION

I am pleased to have participated in the annual meeting, online version, of the Rare Bird club ”a club formed by philanthropists who love birds that is part of the international Birdlife association. Some of my images have been auctioned to raise money for their protection. Not only have I offered my work but I have given a talk about my work, along with such prominent writers as Margared Atwood.
